He
holds a BA in Business Administration with a specialization on accountancy, a
Master in Public Administration and Cum Laude in Jurisprudence by the Law School
of Atlanta. Currently, he leads the ATLATL Project in Mexico City. He was the
main advisor in the Financial Administration for
the
United States Agency for International Development (USAID). He also worked as
Consultant on accounting and audit issues for Latin America and the Caribbean in
the World Bank, where he was designated as the main specialist on
anti-corruption. He has been an active member in the last 33 years at the
Institute of Internal Auditors where he has worked in different positions. He is
an honorary member at the North American Institute of Certified Public Accountant
(AICPA) as well as in the professional associations of public accountants in
Lima, Peru and Quito, Ecuador.
