He graduated with honours from Berkeley University and with the highest
distinctions from Harvard University's Law School. He worked as a Clerk for the
honourable judge John Gibbons in the Court of Appeals of the United States. As a
District Attorney he was in charge of
monitoring
different cases related with fraud, public corruption and other felonies. In his
private practice he has represented dozens of companies in cases related with
governmental contracts and violations to the Federal Corrupt Practices Abroad (FCPA),
predecessor law of the Convention to Fight Bribery of the Foreign Public
Servants in the International Commercial Transactions of the OECD. He is an
active member of the litigation section of the American Bar Association since
1996. He has taught in different universities and is co-author of the book:
Internal Corporate Investigations: Conducting Them, Protecting Them.
